(Adnkronos) – “La malattia di Niemann-Pick è ultra-rara ma oggi si possono trattare i pazienti sostituendo, attraverso infusioni, l’enzima che manca”. Così il Presidente di Simmesn, Andrea Pession, a margine dell’incontro informativo a conclusione del mese di sensibilizzazione sulla malattia di Niemann-Pick, tenutosi presso il MoMeC di Roma. “Il nostro compito è quello di creare attenzione sulla malattia di Niemann-Pick perché non riconoscerla significa non trattare da subito il malato, aumentando la mortalità”, ha concluso.
