(Adnkronos) – La Commissione Europea ha approvato venerdì scorso, recependo la raccomandazione dell’Ema, l’uso del vaccino Imvanex, prodotto dalla compagnia danese Bavarian Nordic, per l’uso contro il vaiolo delle scimmie nell’Ue, e per estensione in Norvegia, Islanda e Liechtenstein. Lo conferma un portavoce dell’esecutivo Ue, dopo che l’azienda produttrice ha comunicato l’approvazione da parte della Commissione. Prima dell’autorizzazione, il vaccino Imvanex era approvato a livello Ue per proteggere gli adulti dal vaiolo.
