Così Maurizio Belpietro, interpellato dall’Adnkronos, smentisce con decisione i rumors secondo i quali il suo giornale, La Verità, sarebbe stato acquisito dalla famiglia Angelucci. Secondo quanto apparso in un flash su ‘Dagospia’ infatti, gli Angelucci -già proprietari di ‘Libero’- avrebbero portato a termine l’operazione di acquisto del quotidiano, e al direttore Belpietro sarebbe stato offerto un contratto di 10 anni con uno stipendio da favola. Ma Belpietro smentisce, mettendo a tacere i rumors in tal senso.
